Join us in shaping the future of dance.
A new chapter in pre-professional dance training starts now.

continuing excellence in dance training

the program

the training ground sf (ttgsf) offers an intensive, full-time program for serious dancers preparing for careers in the arts. Through technique classes, creative exploration, and guidance from working artists, ttgsf bridges the gap between advanced training and the professional world.

The program combines a classical foundation with contemporary views and methods. Our faculty brings years of knowledge, expertise, and dedication in disciplines encompassing ballet, contemporary, GYROTONIC®, modern, repertoire, improvisation, composition, choreography, and critical perspectives in dance. Throughout the year, ttgsf engages guest artists from diverse backgrounds, giving students access to relevant working professionals in the current dance scene.
